Numerology is the study of numbers and how they relate to us, to our lives, our character and our karma.
It was formulated by Pythagoras over 2,500 years ago and is still in use today (although it has been changed and updated over the years the principles are still the same).
There are many ways to work out your ‘numbers’ but the simple ones are from your Date of Birth and from your name.
Date of Birth
Begin by adding up the digits of your date of birth for example:
14th July 1986 would give you:
1 + 4 + 0 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 6 = 36
This then needs to be taken down to a single digit number therefore:
3 + 6 = 9
Your Name
Each letter of your name is given a numeric value, find the value of each letter and add - again taking down to a single digit

It is worthwhile to point out at this stage that the name you were born with, the name you go by now and missing out middle names will give you different numbers - it is worthwhile doing all three (if it applies) to see the differences.
